Elizabeth Reaser, an American actor from the film, television and the theatre, best known for roles like The Twilight Saga as well as TV shows such as Greys Anatomy or True Detective. The Outpost In 2018, Jessica got the global hunt for the role of 'Talon' in The Outpost. She submitted a tape of her self to the producers, which included her performance in the role, as well as an additional video of her training in MMA. After asking if she was able to do sword-fighting she immediately sent producers a video. Jessica knew her role required weapons training. After having read the script, she recorded her first session with a professional. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team was pleasantly surprised by her performance in the first lesson. Her prior films were made in Australia. The Outpost was her first big part in the United States. The role capitalizes on Jessica's love for action by utilizing her mixed horses, martial arts, weapon skills, and athletic ability that allows her to pull off her tricks and truly embody the strong female character. She has studied boxing and muay Thai, and trains at an academy for mixed martial arts in Australia. Jake Stormoen, shooting Season 4 of the show was able to meet a puppy who was wandering around the sets. It turned out that the stray dog belonged to a litter if stray pups that were on the the set. Jessica took care of two puppies.
