Taylor began recording ASMR on her cell phone and then uploading them to YouTube. Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers within a month of posting her first video she was featured in a game video made produced by PewDiePie. Taylor quit making videos about two months, when she was able to count more than 100000 subscribers. She put all her videos into private because of technical issues with her new technology. In August 2022 after having a hiatus of few months, Taylor began to make videos, such as the ASMR 10 sleep triggers (35 million views). She released ASMR 20 triggers designed to aid in sleeping during the month of July in 2017. (38 million views by august 2022). When she reached 1 million YouTube subscribers, she was featured in the Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK calculated that she was earning $1,000 a daily on her YouTube Channel in February 2019.

Dennis Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta) and Elaine Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta), were his parents. The family's ancestry includes German, English. Swedish and Norwegian. She attended her school, the William E. Hay Composite High School which is located within Stettler (Alberta). She had three sisters. Tammy, Tara, and Trena also worked with her on the family farm. When she was 17, the agent of her modeling agency spotted her while in line waiting in a theatre.
